Will I be sore sometimes?

Yes, most people feel some soreness – mostly in the first week upon engaging all of the major muscle groups. After that point, the soreness will be slight to moderate depending on the workouts performed – it’s part of the process that tells your body its working hard. Recovery days are simply for that – recovery, so take it easy on your "non-boot camp days."

What kinds of people go to camp?

People just like you and me!  Someone who may need a push to jump start their fitness and wellness program or someone who just prefers variety and not having to think about what to do. There are people who are "newbies" and those who have been going to boot camp for many years. Yes, campers return month after month, year after year!!  It's a wonderful thing and F-U-N place to be!

We encourage all ability levels, shapes, sizes and ages. Fitness levels range from those who have never been in an exercise program to fitness buffs looking for something new and adventurous and everyone in between. NH Adventure Boot Camp is designed to help people from all walks of life including working moms, stay at home Mom's, professionals, students, retirees, etc!

NOTE: You must be at least 16 years of age and have parental consent to participate.

Is there a refund policy?

If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, I will offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. If I am notified after your session begins, I will gladly give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund and is not negotiable.

What is a typical day like at camp?

First, there are no typical days! Each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom and muscle memory. (In our live classes, you can expect some walking or running outside for a warm up), for our Zoom classes, you can expect a great warm up and a mix of FUN in your workout, weight/strength training, core training, Tabatas (a favorite!), high intensity interval training, P90X, Body Shred and even holiday based games. We even do a foam rolling day and oh you will love it so!!  It's always an adventure and you'll workout with a smile and have F-U-N!! You will be taught about proper form, stretching and safety throughout the course of the session.

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level. It's common to see a camper go down a dress size in the first camp but it’s even more awesome when I see a camper perform an unassisted sit up in week two when they never could before! Remember, everyone is different and your results will depend on your effort, so be sure to give 100% to your coach and more importantly — to yourself!

How do I register for a camp?

Just go to the "Sign Me Up" page and fill out a registration form. Or, you can print it out and mail it in with your payment. After I've received your form, I will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your personal goals and talk about getting you started on your fitness journey.  See you at Boot Camp!

I have always considered myself to be an active person and I enjoy getting outside to walk the dogs, hike, ski, and more. That being said, in my opinion, active and fit are not the same thing and I never really thought of myself as being fit. After taking bootcamp classes for five months I now consider myself active AND fit! The classes challenge me to try new exercises and focus on strength training, not just cardio. I've noticed a difference in how I feel when cross country skiing and so has my husband! He frequently remarks about how strong I am compared to last year. In addition to building my muscles, the classes also help build relationships with the instructor and with the other bootcampers. DeeDee is truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. She carries with her so much positive energy that I can't help but feel happy when I'm around her. She jokes around during class but also pushes me to challenge myself while still focusing on form. The atmosphere at Bootcamp is lighthearted and each class is different so I never know what to expect when I walk in the door (which is part of what makes it so fun)! I look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays and I can honestly say that going to bootcamp makes my week so much better!
